Easy Sleeper formed as a trio in early 2018 after finding each other via mutual friends in the D.C. indie scene. After immediately clicking both personally and musically they wrote a bunch of songs together, developing “the Easy Sleeper sound” – connecting their various influences including Built To Spill, Velvet Underground, Algernon Cadwallader & more - and built a local following on the East Coast, playing countless house & bar shows in D.C., Baltimore, NYC, NJ, & PA. In 2019 Easy Sleeper made the move to L.A. and built a community around hosting house shows which would often boast a bill of over a dozen independent artists & bands. Easy Sleeper added a new band member- producer/songwriter and guitarist extraordinaire Michael Caddigan (aka Caddy, Lone Ranger) in 2021 and just completed their first full band headlining tour of the Southwestern USA together- playing shows at bars, rock clubs, and arts spaces across Arizona, New Mexico, and Texas. On March 11th, 2022 Easy Sleeper's recent release "Access Reply" earned airplay on the Brooklyn Vegan show on Sirius XMU as well as garnered attention at local terrestrial stations. Easy Sleeper put out a few more singles in 2022 and is working on their next recording project- two EP compilations of all their music to date, out in Spring 2023.
